For your travel planning, please note that full programming begins at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, February 26, and concludes on Saturday, February 27, at approximately 7:30 p.m.

Pricing

Since you have to cover your travel and accommodation expenses, the Duke Alumni Association is supporting this weekend to keep the cost as low as possible. As always, our educational sessions are free of charge, meaning we will only be charging for meals and special events. The lone required cost is the registration fee and the breakdown is as follows:

• Registration Fee = $40 ($20 for young alumni; waived for Duke students)
• Friday Luncheon = $40
• Saturday Lunch = $30
• Women’s Bball vs. UVA = to be determined

Hotel Information

The Durham Visitors' Bureau website features a searchable database of all local hotels (search by price, amenities, and/or proximity to campus). Go to www.durham-nc.com and click on the "Lodging" tab.

Rental Cars

Avis Rent-a-Car offers alumni special car rental rates, which may be obtained by calling (888) 754-8878. The Avis Worldwide Discount (AWD) number for this event is D003122.

Dietary Restrictions

With enough advance notice, we can usually accommodate requests for special meals (such as kosher or vegan) from alumni on restricted diets. Please contact Lisa Dilts at lisa.dilts@daa.duke.edu at least two weeks prior to arrange for a special meal.

Parking

Alumni may park at the Bryan Center Parking Deck for $5/day (please identify yourself as a participant in Duke In Depth: Money, Sex & Power in order to obtain this special parking pass).
